		<description>Hi!

I've just finished Chapter 7 of LAS3 and I've got to tell you, this book is awesome! I've just got the particle example from the book to work and I have some questions...

Basically what I want to do is to create is a small custom particle effect, with a given number of particles on mouse click (or some other event).
I also want the script to take MC's out of a special pool of MC's and use them as the particles.

I've never programmed before, and all I know about AS3 is the things I've read in your book until the end of chapter 7, so I don't really know how I would do this :(

However, I'm GUESSING that the pool of MC's could be specified with an array consisting of the MC's of your choice?

As for number of particles? Hm, I'm guessing this would be done with a for loop, but I'm not sure...

If you see this, and have the time, could you please help me with this? Maybe you could just tell me the theory behind it, if you don't have time to write the code for it.

Anyways, great book and thanks to you I feel like I could actually learn how to program!</description>
